Nature has always been a source of inspiration for Mennonite children’s author Aimee Reid.
Several years ago, she took her dog for a walk while camping at Valens Lake Conservation Area in Hamilton, Ontario. She returned with a phrase in her mind:
If all the earth were forests green and you were the nest.

The first time I flew overseas, I remember wondering whether I had flown beyond the reach of God. We had, quite literally, risen on the wings of the dawn and settled on the far side of the sea. My husband reminded me of Psalm 139: “…even there your hand will guide me.”

For the next 10 months, Evan Bueckert will be at the helm of youth ministry in Saskatchewan.
Bueckert, 30, is half-time associate pastor at Mount Royal Mennonite Church in Saskatoon. He steps into the role after Kirsten Hamm-Epp stepped away from it at the end of August after 11 years.
